And luckily for those who want to get to know the city better, there are plentiful museums dotted all over the city.
The National Museum
It is a hot spot in Riyadh in which tourists tend to watch its marvelous design and the Saudi tradition style. It sheds the light on early historical ages, hence transferring us all the way to the present. It is a unique mixture of the past and present of Saudi Arabia that allows the visitors to explore the Islamic history themselves.

Antiquities Museum – King Saud University
The museum contains historical dimensions, which explore different fields that are conducted by the university. It is full of inspirations from the past such as inscriptions, writings, porcelain, pottery ware and so on.

Museum of Currencies in Riyadh
It highlights the forms of currencies with an extraordinary collection from the pre-Islamic period.
Al-Masmak Historical Museum
It is a prominent place to witness the history of Riyadh as a capital and consolidate its important events.
